Cafe de Bruxelles Marketing Video

In: Marketing Videos Critique

This a 1 minute 17 second video I found in business directory with online videos. It is for a restaurant. This kind of “about us” video is for directories, Google local business listings, on your website, etc.

Not as much time really is needed to give a location in the video. The splash screen with the address at the end is enough. It talks about how they offer French and Belgian food and half a brunch on Saturday and Sunday. It also mentions they are open noon to midnight 7 days a week. It shows some of their dishes and all their beers to choose from. The video lets you see the place and atmosphere…and meet the owner.

The scrolling text was too fast, but a great tidbit of info. They must be the place for mussels…as they serve up to 1.5 tons of mussels to customers in a month.  Although, they should have spell checked – mussels was mispelled mussles.  Also, a call to action at the end would have made the video more effective.
