Spanish Pavillion Restaurant Marketing Video

In: Marketing Videos Critique

19 Jul 2009

This short video (under 2 minutes) shows one way restaurants can also get into online video.  This video pretty much shows the front outside, the inside, the bar, and a few dishes they are probably known for.  During the video it mentions their good Zagats Survey rating.

This video was professionally done, but it is too dry and cold (in my opinion).  Like the shot of one of the hosts at the bar…it zooms back and you see him alone at the bar…looking more alone by the moment as you see more empty bar.  I would suggested finding some people who would be open to being on film (perhaps dinner on them for their customers’ trouble).  In this way, it would have been more engaging…to see guests (like I would be) enjoying themselves there.
