Looking into the World of Online Videos for Marketing & Recruiting…and other stuff.
This almost 4 minute video may have been an actual video review for some internet program, or it could have been totally made up…it is hard to say, but a good video. Although they call themselves a Mediterranean restaurant…they quickly say the spices come from the area, but it is more familiar meats – chicken, salmon, duck, etc. You also get to meet the owners…one of them being the chef. You get to meet the chef…and get to know, like, and trust him.
Here is the the latest finished video from Peek Productions. The Emergency Foodshelf Network is a foodbank in Minnesota – receiving and shipping food to member foodshelves. I am very proud of this video…and I am too close to it to critique it right now (just got the final approval 10 minutes ago). What do you think about it?
This is a 7 minute and 50 minute video that is basically ‘candid camera’ meets fastfood burgers. They told people that the whopper has been discontinued…and filmed reactions. This is a very smart piece of video. It is interesting, entertaining, and worthy of forwarding to friends…this is something that goes viral. Furthermore, it is not really selling anything. Such the message is that the whopper is the best and most loved burgers…but it is subtle marketing. Instead of in-you-face about why they are the best, you watch customers become ticked when they can’t have their favorite burger.
This is basically a short 1-minute commercial. Although I am normally against commercials, as they tend not to be believed by potential customers anymore…this video does give a nice peek into the center (assuming this is actual footage and not stock footage from some other location).
Vitality Massage in Asheville produced this 8 minute 29 second film of performing a massage on a client. It is too long, but the content is good. You see the environment, you hear calming music, see mood lighting, you watch Brett work, etc. I have not had many massages, but watching this got me craving a massage. It looks like it feels great.
A blog written by a Minnesota Recruiter and Video Producer about marketing, social media, online video production, recruiting, and some about what I'm doing in life. Professionally, I am very interested in online videos for businesses marketing their products & services, and videos for recruiting for their open positions.
