Looking into the World of Online Videos for Marketing & Recruiting…and other stuff.
This quick 1 minute and 15 second video lets you see the view (which they are known for) and you meet Danny (the owner). He says the view is an extra…they really make great food. You learn there are a couple areas to eat at…and that the menu changes 4 times a year.
This almost 4 minute video may have been an actual video review for some internet program, or it could have been totally made up…it is hard to say, but a good video. Although they call themselves a Mediterranean restaurant…they quickly say the spices come from the area, but it is more familiar meats – chicken, salmon, duck, etc. You also get to meet the owners…one of them being the chef. You get to meet the chef…and get to know, like, and trust him.
This a 1 minute 17 second video I found in business directory with online videos. It is for a restaurant. This kind of “about us” video is for directories, Google local business listings, on your website, etc. The scrolling text was too fast, but a great tidbit of info. They must be the place for mussels…as they serve up to 1.5 tons of mussels to customers in a month. Although, they should have spell checked – mussels was mispelled mussles. Also, a call to action at the end would have made the video more effective.
This short video (under 2 minutes) shows one way restaurants can also get into online video. This video pretty much shows the front outside, the inside, the bar, and a few dishes they are probably known for. During the video it mentions their good Zagats Survey rating.
A blog written by a Minnesota Recruiter and Video Producer about marketing, social media, online video production, recruiting, and some about what I'm doing in life. Professionally, I am very interested in online videos for businesses marketing their products & services, and videos for recruiting for their open positions.
