This 2 minute 47 second video could have been better. He starts off well, “Hi, I’m….” You get to meet the president of this company, but then he goes into the typical company hype you hear everywhere – we make marketing people’s job easier, we provide the perfect packaging for the needs, delivered on-time, exceeding quality standards, etc. I almost hear a Charlie Brown show-like, “Wa wa waaa wa waaa waaaaaa.”

This is a couple minute product demo video. It is boring and doesn’t engage the viewer at all. If you are going to produce a product demonstration video…it has to be more than just demonstrating the product. And I am not talking about a voice-over listing a bunch of facts…how much weight the line can take, etc.

Some are calling this the hottest book trailer in 2009. This video is the author reading a short piece on women and strength…the video title is Transcending. The video concludes with Kelly’s website address and a mention of her book “The Middle Place”.

This is a 3 minute and 22 second video about Tim Sykes new self-published book that he is also selling on Amazon. Hearing directly from the author adds some credibility. If I were shopping for a book like this and trying to choose between this one and a competing book, everything else being equal, I’d probably buy this one — based on the strength of the video and the connection it provides to the author.

Medical equipment demonstration video for M9 Ultraclave Automatic Sterilizer. The video explains key features (as it is a sales video, it should have covered more benefits). Although I applaud the use of video for sales efforts like this, the video quality is very poor and appears to be out of focus.
