After the last post about an Employee Value Proposition, I thought I would go into more detail about Unique Selling Propositions (USP). This is a key differentiator…of value by the target customer…that basically says why the customer should choose to do business with you instead of your competitor.
I hear all the time that “Recruiting is Sales!” I tend to say recruiting involves sales, marketing, and PR. Either way, if so much of recruiting is sales…then why don’t many corporate recruiters find the Unique Selling Proposition like good salespeople do?
